Very sad, disturbing news out of the New Mexico Senate. They can okay a new gambling compact, 22 year agreement between the state and Indian tribes that operate casinos across New Mexico and contribute to bankruptcies, family problems, drugs and alcohol problems…..but they cannot pass pro-life legislation to stop the murder of babies in New Mexico. The Senate approved this unGodly legislation yesterday, a 22 year agreement on a vote of 35-7 that will ADD MORE CASINOS, LONGER OPERATING HOURS, MORE PERKS FOR GAMBLERS! HOW ABOUT PERKS FOR BABIES!!!??!! You think God is going to honor this gambling legislation?????
You cannot tell me that the quality of life in New Mexico has improved since the opening of casinos, in fact I would say the state is worse off. And about killing babies……you think that improves the quality of life in New Mexico?
I know this will make many choke on their breakfast, and get mad at me….but New Mexico is on a path of destruction. The New Mexico Senate has it’s eyes off of God. Are they blind to the destruction that is happening to New Mexico families? child hunger, violent crime, rampant drug crime, killings almost everyday, sex crimes, child abuse, rape, failing schools, no job growth, people leaving the state, young people moving out of state for jobs……this is what happens when you leave God as your foundation.
The majority of the Senate have become blind to the ways of God, not being obedient to God.
