US President Barack Obama gave an interview toReuters on Monday in which he said, among other things, that the “unbreakable bond” between the US and Israel is still in place, but that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before Congress scheduled for Tuesday morning is “a mistake” and that there remains “substantial disagreement” between his administration and the Israeli government over how to address the challenge of Iran’s renegade nuclear program.
