In a Palm Sunday Editorial in the Albuquerque Journal: “You will, however, be able to get beer delivered with your pizza. We do, after all, have some priorities”
Maybe that should be the state’s new motto?
This comment comes on the heels of the extreme failure of New Mexico Governor Martinez and State Legislators to do the people’s business. The downhill slide of New Mexico continues. The heat is on the Governor and Michael Sanchez to get their act together, meet with the Catholic Bishops, both Martinez and Sanchez are Catholic, and can’t even get pro-life bills passed. I pray they meet with the Bishops and come to an agreement to work together for the people of New Mexico, following the ways of God. What ever happened to be doing the people’s business? Doing the business of God? Many complain about Washington D.C., but the New Mexico Governor and Legislators are just as guilty! In my nearly 40 years in news, this past New Mexico legislative session was the worst I have seen, the people were not represented, it all was 99% dirty, personal politics and vendettas. GRIDLOCK! DIRTY GRIDLOCK!
Beer delivered with your pizza???? More drunks!
