There were major developments in the negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 nuclear powers (US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) this week, with US Senate Democrats and Republicans announcing on Thursday that they will delay a vote in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on legislation that would force President Barack Obama to submit any nuclear agreement with Iran for Congress’ approval until 14 April.
