As a retired United States Navy service member, this story simply horrifies me and I personally ask everyone to put this issue to prayer!!!
From the days of the Vietnam War to the first Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm, with a number of unpleasant stops in-between, I frequently relied on our military Chaplain’s for comfort and peace. Where are our service men and women to go today?!?
This disturbs me so greatly, I am almost speechless!!!
Five months ago the Navy called him the “best of the best.” But now, Chaplain Wes Modder could be kicked out of the military over issues of intolerance and insensitivity to other cultures. Lt. Cmdr. Modder has been accused of failing to show “tolerance and respect” in private counseling sessions regarding issues pertaining to faith marriage and sexuality – including homosexuality.
