A Baby Is A Person, No Matter How Small
March 21, 2015 the world changed once again. Weighing in at 7lb 10.2 oz Jaxson Wyatt Ireland my fourth grandson came into the world. He was my oldest daughter and son in laws baby that I asked everyone to pray for several months ago. The high risk pregnancy causing much concern from her doctor that put her on bed rest was due to him being very small (only in 2 percentile). I asked prayers from across the globe for a healthy fourth grandson and Believed God for him and he heard and answered. He arrived with a full head of hair and takes his position in the family as the third son to his parents. He is some precious and it will be a blessing to see his life unfold. His mom was induced a week early and I was in New York with a team at the United Nations defending life and other women’s issues at the Commission on the Status of Women.
Last evening, I attended the 5th Annual County Network Prayer Night at the Presque Isle Middle School here in my hometown. I saw on a friends vehicle a bumper sticker that read A baby is a person, no matter how small. Wow, how true that is. Jaxson had an amazing growth spurt in the womb and a healthy baby boy is now at home. Jesus does hear and answer our prayers.
County network last evening had in attendance twenty area pastors, a chaplain along with some parishioners that came together to pray for our community. I can’t wait to see the results. God does hear us when we pray. Can you imagine what would happen in our communities if we came together and prayed in unity for our communities? Scripture tells us one can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand. You do the math.
This past weekend I had an incredible opportunity to serve on a team close to where I was born at a very powerful ACTS retreat. My mother delivered me in Fort Kent, Maine and Frenchville is a short distance from there. It was a powerful weekend. God, I pray these ACTS Retreats multiply all across this globe. Set it up Lord I pray. These beautiful people blessed my socks off. The priest encouraging the women to read scripture, re-read it out loud and believe it. Didn’t that set my heart on fire. They are starting a radio broadcast here in Northern Maine so let’s Believe God with them for what they are doing. Let’s build unity and receive the blessing God has for us. It will be a blessing to have more airwaves bringing forth God’s Word. Yahoo!
Now back to Jaxson (I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t preach a little too). As you look at this precious child’s picture take a moment and pray for him and his family and for all the families around this globe. May families find the richest gift they could ever receive Jesus Christ. Not to just know about him, but to truly have a life changing encounter with the true living God, Jesus Christ. Free to worship him where ever they choose, reading his Word daily and communing with the man that paid the ultimate price for their salvation. Amen
