I just love what the Lord has given me to do……it is not easy, but the Lord did not promise us EASY! I love serving His Kingdom… I am weeping at all the memories of meeting people for Jesus Christ………I am tired this morning, but as Daddy said, “There is a good tired son” and yes, I have the “good tired” feeling, meaning tired for the right reasons, but encouraged by the love and strength of Jesus Christ. What encourages me? Hand written letters like this from soon to be 99 year old Joseph P. Lambert. I have saved this letter as encouragement. Joe, as I call him, reminds me so much of my Uncle Joe Moede who helped me become a Pastor. I still have the hand written letters Uncle Joe wrote on my behalf to the Bishop and my Pastor, as I worked to become a Pastor. Joe Lambert is the Father of our neighbor Joan Johnson. I get to meet Joe when he comes for a visit, he still walks the neighborhood, with the help of a walker, but he does speed along!!! LOL! This past Christmas Joe came for a visit with Joan and her hubby Tom and I gave him a copy of Charles Stanley’s book, “Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit” It is such a blessing to meet people like Joe Lambert who love the Lord so much and it is such a blessing to have a Christian heritage handed down to you….by my Uncle Joe Moede and my Mom and Dad, my grandparents…….all of my family, AMEN! ….This is our FGGAM Photo of the Day: Hand written letter of love from soon to be 99 year old Joseph Lambert, A FRIEND IN CHRIST JESUS! ……can’t you feel that love jimp of the page? The picture of the young man from around 1925 is left handed hitting Joe Moede!!!!! My Dad, Wally Moede also was an excellent baseball player! Thats where I get my love for baseball, from Uncle Joe and my Dad! Amen! At 59 I still play softball, I pitched last night! All Glory to God!
