Iran Issues Fact Sheet in Stark Contrast to U.S. and French

Iran's renegade ballistic missile program (Illustrative)The Iranian parliament committee on nuclear affairs released a “fact sheet” on the recently announced framework agreement reached earlier this month in Lausanne, Switzerland, which included stark differences from a similar document released by the US, which also differed from a version released last week by France. “The [Iranian] fact sheet urges operation of 10,000 centrifuge machines at Natanz and Fordow, a maximum five-year-long duration for the deal and for Iran’s nuclear limitations, [and] replacement of the current centrifuges with the latest generation of home-made centrifuge machines at the end of the five-year period,” the Fars News Agencyreported. It added a reiteration of the Iranian demand that all sanctions by the US, EU and UN be lifted on the same day as an agreement is signed. Read More
