It’s been a few days….so sorry, God has me focused on His work……..
I was talking to Wanell Pate about that this morning, focusing on what God wants, not me, focusing on God’s assignments, not mine…….
Being obedient to God in all things.
Not what I want, what God wants.
God has also impressing on me to love more and more…….John 13:34….”A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
How do you know what God wants from you?
You grow in your relationship with Him, the power of the Holy Spirit overcomes you and you are filled with the spirit and you can feel God’s breath, you can hear His voice, AMEN! PTL!
Acts 1:8 teaches us…….But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
I am here to tell you if you do not have Jesus, If you are not fully emerged in Jesus…..Satan is going to trip you up and hang you up on issues……issues that are not of God, they are going to stick to you like glue…….
Last night I took a call……….I had gone to bed………FGGAM is to bring the light of Jesus Christ to one person at a time…….
Let us come together and pray,
This morning we pray for Veronica, our next door neighbor, who is at the top of the list now to receive a kidney transplant at Presbyterian in Albuquerque! We pray for a perfect match, Veronica has been called in twice, but no match as of yet. Today we pray for a perfect match and thank the Lord for all those that are organ donors! Amen!
Friday night when I attended Hall-of-Famer Frank Haley’s 75th birthday party, a lady came up to me afterwards and asked if I knew that Pastor Larry Moss had double bypass heart surgery. I am so thankful to know and to pray for Pastor Larry’s recovery! I called Larry’s wife, Lou, yesterday and she said that Larry had the surgery three weeks ago and is recovering well. Many of you know Larry Moss as the mentor of many Pastor’s around the world! He Pastored at Heights Cumberland in Albuquerque for years and did radio programming for me at KKIM. It has been years ago, but people still talk about Larry’s radio programs, it was one of the most popular programs ever aired on KKIM! Larry called me a couple of months ago and had been preaching and doing well. Larry and Lou live in Kentucky now. their home state. Let us all pray for continued healing for Larry! In Jesus name, Amen!
Just one more note on Larry, he has taught me much on how to be a better man of God, Preacher and Broadcaster!
Please pray for Jim Hofflander of Mankato, Minnesota. He is recovering from recent health issues in an assisted living center in Mankato. Please pray for continued healing, in Jesus name, Amen!
Please pray for Norm Merlock of Albuquerque as he continued to recover from knee replacement surgery! In Jesus name, Amen!
Please pray for Wanell Pate FGGAM Board member, as she prepares to receive radiation treatments for her cancer, we pray healing over Wanell in Jesus name, Amen!
Let us storm heaven this day and all days with prayers for Veronica, Larry, Jim, Norm, Wanell and all those in need! In Jesus name, Amen!
Let us turn to Jeremiah 17:14……….Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.
Last Sunday I preached at the Reserve, NM Baptist Church. Sharon and I and our whole family have been made part of the Church family, we are so ever grateful to all! Everyone has treated us with the love of Jesus! Deacon Charles McCargish and his lovely wife Joan have become such Dear Friends! They have become mentors of mine….on how to live a Godly life! This past Sunday we were blessed to have visitors at the Church and one of them, a man named Bob, who was traveling through the area, on his way to Alaska, went to lunch with us after services. Charles and Joan asked him. They are so very hospitable, like all of the folks at the Reserve Baptist Church. Psalm 94:16 teaches us…Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Please pray for my message and travels as I am blessed to return to Reserve this Sunday. By the way Bob took this picture of me and Charles and Joan. Lord Willing, if I do not forget in my old age..I want to take pictures of the stained glass windows of the Church that were donated by the founders! There are not many Churches like the Reserve Baptist Church left in America! They even have a Church bell! PTL! I am so thankful to God and my Dear Friends at the Church for the opportunity to serve! Amen! For God’s Glory Alone!!!!
