I am old enough to remember those Uncle Sam posters that said, “Uncle Sam wants you!” It was used for years to recruit soldiers to fight for our country. Makes me wonder…do people even know who Uncle Sam is anymore? Do people know the term? I think many do not, like many do not know the true history of this great nation! Many do not know God’s Word and His ways.
The common man and woman have been called on to serve our Country, as we fought the British, and to this day, fighting World War III, yes we are in the fight of our lives to survive as a nation and as Christians. PEOPLE ARE LEAVING AMERICA TO FIGHT AGAINST US, fighting for the Satanic Islamic State. It is time to take the blinders off. Read the book, the Bible.
The purpose of this mornings post is to encourage you! YOU ARE WANTED! UNCLE SAM WANTS YOU! WE NEED AMERICANS TO STAND IN THE GAP FOR GOD! MORE IMPORTANT THAN UNCLE SAM IS GOD ALMIGHTY!
This verse speaks volumes this day in Ezekiel 13:5…You have not gone up into the gaps or breeches, not built up the wall for the house of Israel that it might stand in the battle in the day of the Lord.
Then we go to Ezekiel 22:30……And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.
Look around this world we live in…take the blinders off……who is standing in ther gap against the evil of this day?
When you think about working for God in His mission to redeem a lost world, you may ask, “What can one ordinary person do?”
Most people we read about in the Scriptures were ordinary men and women. Their relationship with God and God’s activity in their lives made them EXTRAORDINARY!
Peter and John were called before the Sanhedrin—-the highest court in the land—-to give an account of their actions. Filled with the Holy Spirit, Peter spoke fearlessly to the religious leaders. Notice the people’s response: “When they observed the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and knew that they had been with Jesus” Acts 4:13
One of my hero’s is Dwight L. Moody! He was a poorly educated shoe salesman who felt the call of God to preach the gospel! Moody became one of the greatest Preachers for God to walk this earth! Amen!
I encourage you to read about the life of Dwight L. Moody! It will inspire you……..even better than that, read God’s Word, that will set you on fire for HIM! Amen!
God is using me, I am a very common man, God wants to use you for His Kingdom.
Today……look at the world as God sees the World.
