Frank Haley of KDAZ AM730 and Pastor Dewey Report: The manager of the Baptist Convention of New Mexico’s Inlow Baptist Camp and Conference Center in the Monzano mountains, Dr. Kerry Chadwick, was killed in a tragic accident at the camp on Memorial Day. No campers were present at the camp at the time. Dr. Chadwick was killed in a Zip Line accident according to Torrance County Sheriff Heath White, whose Department is handling the investigation. Sheriff White, pictured, told FGGAM NEWS that the tragic accident happened during the very first test of the newly built zip line at the camp. Torrance County Fire and Medical also assisted at the scene.
Chadwick became manager of the camp on May 23, 2014. Previously, he served as pastor of First Baptist Church, Sitka, Alaska for 10 years.
The camp’s event schedule, which begins June 2, remains unchanged.
