It is a blessing to run into friends like Walt Zeiher of Edgwood, NM. I was greeted so warmly by Walt the other day at Valley View Christian Church! Sharon and I so much value all our friendships, we pray over them daily. I love reading about King Hezekiah who spread out his prayer needs to the Lord constantly. He once took a threatening letter from the Assyrians to the house of the Lord and put it on the table and asked God what to do. I have the names of all or friends, and pray over them constantly, we have made a list. Walt told me he missed me teaching at the Bible study group. Walt encouraged me in a loving way, the way of Jesus. Sharon and I so much treasure the love of friends like you and Walt. The folks at Valley View are like family to us! When I go out to the Food Pantry when I can, Walt is always serving their, a true man of God. Pictured here is Walt.
I got to see many of my friends at the funeral service of Carol Ring on Monday. It was a wonderful celebration of life. A tremendous message by Pastor Brandon Shaffer. Pastor Brandon stressed throughout his message in a loving way about the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He also shared how Carol served God’s people “behind the scenes” not needing to be in the limelight! I loved what he said about Carol now being in the place where there is no need for hospitals, no sickness, no pain…..in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN!

John 15:12-15 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
Friends keep the world going around and around in the love of Jesus Christ, Amen!
