ICEJ NEWS REPORTS:
The Islamic State (IS) terror militia issued an audio recording on Thursday which it claimed was made by their “caliph” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and repeating the groups oft-repeated call for volunteers to come from around the world to join them in their fight against everyone else in the Middle East. The voice in the recording also blasted the governments of the Western-backed Sunni Arab countries and urged those who were unable to travel to the Middle East to carry out terrorist attacks against their government and/or anyone else they could in their home countries who wasn’t living according to the nebulous standards IS has for proper behavior. Intelligence agencies were working to confirm if the recording actually was made by al-Baghdadi, even as rumors persisted that he was seriously wounded and possibly even killed in an American air strike earlier this year.
