Israeli sailors, warships and aircraft took part in drills this week with their counterparts from Greece and the US in the semi-annual Noble Dina exercise in the eastern Mediterranean. The drills, which started on 27 April, will continue through this weekend and include three of Israel’s front-line missile frigates, submarines, helicopters and ground based command and control facilities. Units of the Greek Air Force were also involved in the drills, including an anti-submarine warfare exercise near the island of Crete. They reflected the “high level of cooperation between the navies of the US, Greece and Israel,” the IDF said.
