A Nevada teenager said Tuesday she’s prepared to sue her public school district after her application to charter a pro-life club was rejected.
Angelique Clark, a sophomore at West Career and Technical Academy in Las Vegas, claims the Clark County School District denied her application because it deemed the club too contentious, Fox affiliate KVVU reported.
“It was too controversial, and it would be too exclusive, and it would leave out pro-choice people,” Clark quoted the district as saying.
The school district, meanwhile, said the application was rejected for failing to meet charter requirements, according to a statement obtained by KVVU. More here: Pro-Life Club Rejected
