Albuquerque, NM- Since we are committed to end Late-Term Abortion in New Mexico, Bud is heading to Washington D.C. this week!

On January 22, the date of the Roe v. Wade Memorial, Republican House Leadership broke a promise and cancelled a vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act if passed would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy nationwide.

Almost 4 months later a vote has yet to be scheduled, meanwhile innocent pre-born children continue to die.

As New Mexicans living in the late term abortion capital of the nation, efforts have been made at the city and state level to ban abortions at 20 weeks of pregnancy. New Mexicans and Pro-Life advocates all across the nation must now make their voices heard at the national level.

Bud Shaver, Executive Director of Protest ABQ will stand in solidarity with national pro-life leaders to call upon House Speaker John Boehner to reschedule a vote to ban all abortions after 20 weeks.

The #FreeTheBan protest will be held on May 7th 2015 in Washington D.C. Please sign our petition to be hand delivered by Bud Shaver to House Speaker Boehners office.
