Love.. Bleeding Hearts..
Romans 12:21
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:17-20
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.20 On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
Father, there are so many bleeding hearts today all across this nation(s). Some pain and trauma caused by others, some wounds self inflicted. Today, we are thankful that you are our healer, comforter and friend.
Today, all across this globe, we choose to bless those who curse us and to overcome evil with good. We choose the high road of forgiveness.
On our path today, Lord, help us to recognize and respond to the bleeding heart. Amen
Have A Blessed Day, For this is the Day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. (keep your eyes open for the bleeding heart)
This is so true. So many times I’ve had someone say or do something hurtful and instinctively someone else will chime in and tell me ” don’t stand for that do something or say something”. That might fix it for those first few minutes but that’s not what God wants from us. We have to humble ourselves and Give ALL of it to him and let him fix it for us.
