Where Is Your Treasure Stored?

Today, let’s pray together:

1 Timothy 6:9-10

Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. ¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many grief’s.

Psalm 19:9-10

 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous. ¹⁰ They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.

Luke 12:34

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:20 

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal.

Father, thank you for being the greatest treasure.  Nothing in this world compares to knowing you, no nothing. Riches will come and riches will go, but the treasures of  Your Word, that we have hidden in our heart, will last for a lifetime.

Your Word is life to our very being. You are our treasure (tell Him if that’s true in your heart today.)
