Spring is the time when flowers and plants of all varieties blossom. The world comes alive with vibrant colors and delicious fragrances as flowers start a season filled with many blooms.
Flowers aren’t the only things blossoming these days. I have been blessed with a front row seat since Dewey Moede quit his radio job at KKIM (Albuquerque, NM) and stepped out in faith to start a humble, God-centered ministry. God isn’t the co-pilot . . . God is IN the driver’s seat. Dewey, along with his equally faithful wife, are sensitive to let God’s choose the path of For God’s Glory Alone Ministry (FGGAM). Despite being constantly stretched thin in many areas, he and Sharon honor God, act in obedience, and display love every step of the way. It’s a team effort that blossoms year round.
When FGGAM launched almost three years ago it was a humble ministry. It is still humble, but enjoying many blessings as it expands. Paul Holt helped plant the seeds of the first website format. But with the constant growth, FFGAM now requires a Chief Technical Officer. We are grateful for the talent Isaac Milleson’s brings to this kingdom work. I know he has helped me out of several tricky techy places over the years, especially when I launched Pray-NM several months ago. I’m certain Isaac must have the “patience of Job” after dealing with very computer-challenged me. Let’s just say he rocks!!
Yes, FGGAM has come a long way. When the seeds first started sprouting in the early days there were about 150 visitors a day. As God’s new little earthy garden grew so did the daily hits. Today we are in awe of having half a million visitors a month from all over the world!! FGGAM started with a handful of writers, but now is 40 strong! It’s all to the glory of God.
The most recent addition to our format is Dewey’s daily podcast. This new feature launched about a week ago and is flourishing. It comes straight from Dewey’s heart and, even though it is only about five minutes, it is jam packed with insights and inspiration. Click the link to listen if you haven’t been blessed by Dewey’s word’s yet. Podcast. I can attest to it being a great way to start the day.
Wonderful things are happening at FGGAM. Under the loving care and faithful obedience of Dewey, Sharon, Isaac, and a host of writers, a beautiful garden is blossoming for God.
