I have used the term, “my gut tells me”, I no longer use that term as I grow in my Lord Jesus Christ. It is called God given discernment. THE GIFT OF DISCERNMENT, 1 Cor. 12:10, is a supernatural ability to distinguish between the spirit of truth and the spirit of error, between holiness and evil. This is not the same as a “psychic ability.” Deut. 18: 10-14 sternly forbids any involvement with spiritism. Only believers in Jesus Christ have this supernatural ability from the Holy Spirit. Please listen to my latest PODCAST: From My Heart, Wisdom of God! My life verse is from Acts 20:24…My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus.

I am excited to see the verse in 1 Cor. 12:10 come to life in your article instead of hearing about ‘a little voice in side of me” or “my gut feeling” guiding our lives. In Genesis 1;26-27, it says we are created in God’s image. The best I can determine is God is a Spirit. We are then a Spirit who must communicate with the Holy Spirit for all our guidance and leadership in order to please God. As you stated, we will then discern between good and evil. Again, as you stated, this is only available to born again believers in Jesus Christ. We will labor in vain if we do not get in line with what God’s Word says. The truth will set you free. Thank you.
Thank you for listening and commenting Sir! God Bless you and yours forever and ever!
