The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that Kaspersky Lab ZAO, a cyber security firm, has reported detecting breaches in the software it used at three European hotels where negotiations have been held in recent months over Iran’s renegade nuclear program. The report said, among other things, that the most likely sources of the virus which infected the software was an Israeli intelligence agency. The lab further reported that the virus had also been discovered in software at “up to 100” other locations around the world where high-level discussions of geo-political interest were taking place. Israeli officials had no comment on the report.
