Who Are You?

Today, let’s settle who we are and to whom we belong? Let’s pray together:

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

John 15:5

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

1 Corinthians 12:27

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Father, thank you that we belong to you. (Do You?) We have been created in the image of our creator and our identity is not in anything but you. Our jobs, our families, our homes do not identify us. Our identity is in You, oh God and You alone.

Today, we thank you for fruitful lives. Our lives are meaningful  because we belong to You and we are what You say we are. 

Thank you for knowing the plans you have for us, plans to prosper us, not to harm us, to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

We receive our identity in You. (Do You?) Amen
