Leaders and citizens of Arab countries took to the airwaves, the internet and the streets this week to speak out about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) announced on Tuesday regarding Iran’s renegade nuclear program. Editorials in various Arab-language news outlets angrily denounced what was described as a Western betrayal of Arab and Sunni interests in the Middle East in favor of Iranian and Shi’ite interests.
