What Is Being Hidden From Us?
Here are the latest developments from Capitol Hill regarding the Iranian nuclear deal:
- The Obama Administration has now acknowledged that there are side deals with Iran that were not included in the agreement submitted to Congress as required by the Iranian Nuclear Review Act.
- These side deals were made between a United Nations bureaucracy — the International Atomic Energy Agency — and Iran.
- Because the United Nations made these agreements, members of Congress and the American people do not get to see what is in them.
- During testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee yesterday, Secretary of State John Kerry and other administration officials actually admitted that they have not read the secret deals.If our own government does not know what is in these agreements, how can it possibly demand that members of Congress vote for the agreement it submitted, since the side agreements could undercut it?ACTION ALERT: Call Capitol Hill right now at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to the offices of your senators and congressman. Tell them to vote “No” on the Iranian nuclear deal.
