Frank Haley of KDAZ AM730 Reports:

Chamber of Commerce types will not like this story, but the truth hurts! Crime City Albuquerque:  Recent homicides, home invasions, carjackings, stabbings and shootings have enough Albuquerque residents on edge that gun shops are ringing up an increase in sales, including to people who have never owned a firearm.

Gun shop owners say they are used to surges in sales after national gun news or events, like after a president makes a statement about gun regulations or a major national crime like the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which killed 26 people in Newtown, Conn., in 2012.

Those upticks usually are fueled by fear that firearms ownership could face new restrictions.

But the sales increases Albuquerque stores have experienced since mid-June seem tied to fear about local crime, as shop owners report customers are saying recent high-profile incidents have made them feel unsafe.

Some Abq gun shops report about a 50 percent increase in gun sales, about 20 more handguns per week than normal, starting about mid-June.

Let us pray for hearts to soften…..too turn to our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen! Jesus Christ is the only answer to Albuquerque’s violent crime! REVIVAL IS NEEDED

Picture is of a very violent drunk driving crash in Albuquerque. Drunk driving is a huge problem, not only in the Duke City but in the state.  Reserve Revival
