But know that the LORD has set apart the godly man for Himself; The LORD hears when I call to Him. Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in the LORD.…(Psalm 4:3-5).”
By God’s Grace alone, I am Karen Rowe with Hope in Today Ministries, Inc., which began simply as “Hope in Today” on a Christian Radio Station in which Pastor Dewey Moede challenged my faith to step up to writing for Dewey’s Daily Cup and the microphone for God’s Glory. My challenge was to say, “Yes, I can.” Through my faith challenges, I have understood “I am weak, but the Holy Spirit is strong” and greater is HE who lives in me than He who is in the world. Through these challenges and opportunities to serve the Lord, I heard the Lord name my ministry; and God called it Hope in Today. And, still today, I am grateful to serve as a volunteer writer at FGGAM and represent Hope in Today Ministries, Inc., For God’s glory Alone!
Brother Dewey asked me, if I could write a post on what FGGAM means to me as a Sister in Christ. Because of what the word “ministry” means to me, in order to reflect on another ministry, I must ask God 1st what it means to Him. I prayed; and the Lord raised up my heart to tell what FFGAM means to my heart, which is my spirit listening to God in me.
This is what the Lord has shown me: Ministry is helping others step up … and For God’s Glory Alone Ministries has helped me step up and into God’s ministry gifts to me! Dewey, through For God’s Glory Alone Ministries, gives opportunities and even challenges to step up in our faith to serve our Lord –to share the Good News of Jesus and reach the world with the Gospel of Christ. There is a lot of information in the world, but FGGAM gives an opportunity to hear the Revelation Knowledge from God, which is the Truth the world needs to understand. I believe in my heart of God that when we step up in our faith to work together for the cause of Christ, God does an amazing work to help others believe in what they doubt …
As FGGAM has bloomed by God’s Grace Alone, the Lord has used this ministry to help me step up in my believing heart to discover the ministry gift that God has given to me –Hope in Today Ministries! Through stepping up in my faith in Christ Jesus to meet the opportunities offered to me from the faith in Christ Jesus Dewey had from the LORD, I discovered what ministry means to God! I discovered God IS the glory! God is the power! And, it is God who does the work! I am grateful to serve in all I do for God’s Glory Alone! FGGAM is a place to serve our Lord well –to reach the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ!
And FGGAM is a place to find something the Lord has waiting on you!
God bless you my friends in Christ! Welcome to those who don’t know Jesus as the Christ! Grace and Peace be with FGGAM; and may God’s glory be seen –for whether in life, or in service it is for God’s Glory Alone.
