Several members of Knesset from the Joint (Arab) List visited al-Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount on Tuesday to meet with Moslem leaders and declaring that “an attempt to divide al-Aksa will ignite the region in another war” and blaming the Netanyahu-led government for creating and encouraging a confrontational atmosphere. The visit came just two days after a riot by dozens of Palestinian youths on the Temple Mount resulted in several injuries and arrests.
