The Ayatollah’s Slush Fund — Will Congress Wake Up?
Here’s more bad news about the bad nuclear deal with Iran: A “yes” vote on the Iranian nuclear deal sends billions of dollars to a “slush fund” run by Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
- The Iran deal removes sanctions on three dozen banks, oil companies and other investments belonging to a group called the “Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order” (EIKO).
- EIKO is controlled, as its name suggests, by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
- EIKO uses a network of “front” companies that have been exposed for their illicit financial practices and corruption.
- The windfall the ayatollah receives through EIKO, thanks to the Iranian deal, will empower him to increase the repression of Iranian people, while providing him growing opportunities to finance terrorism against the United States and our allies in the Middle East.[SOURCE: Mark Dubowitz and Jonathan Schanzer of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, New York Post, August 9, 2015.]ACTION ALERT: Every member of Congress must understand that this deal funds Iranian terrorism, that a vote in favor of the deal is a vote to subsidize attacks against America and our allies.
Call Capitol Hill at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to the offices of your senators and congressman. Tell them to oppose subsidizing Islamic terrorism. Tell them to vote “No” on the Iranian nuclear deal.
