Don’t look back at your mistakes and turn into a pillar of salt. What is a Pillar of Salt? Salt is good, but a pillar of salt is hard and useless. Lot’s wife disobeyed God’s command and looked back at the ruins of sin and God turned her into a pillar of salt.

26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:
Today, God commands us to do the same; don’t look back! Rather, Believe God and Believe also in Jesus! Trust God, as the Bible says that if you believe, and do NOT doubt in your heart, which is the place God will work, which is to not doubt in your spirit –God will do as you ask! The Bible also directs us to the Will of God. And, the Word of God reveals to God’s Church HIS order and HIS structure; and also the importance of unity in Christ in our believing prayers –God’s will be done! Yet, some of this is for another teaching. This today is about letting go of your mistakes, looking up, believing in who you are in Christ, and moving forward!
Remember, God IS good! You are valuable! Your mistakes do not define who you are to God –Your choice of your Father does! Who will you believe? Who is your father? –God, who is The Father of Truth, Life, Unity, Peace and Salvation? Or, will you choose to believe, and follow: the father of lies, deception, destruction, division and evil? Because of Jesus you can choose to be the child of the Father who loves you! God is the Judge –the Good Judge, with the power to forgive; and judgment is HIS and forgiveness belongs in the blood of His Son! Jesus tells us “Do not let your hearts be troubled, believe in God; believe also in me (John 14:1).”
What is it that God has asked you to leave behind? Do you “FEEL” like you made a mistake that is beyond God’s control of reconciliation? Do you “FEEL” like your mistake could be the ruination of all that you stand for? First off, our feelings are real, but remember that feelings are emotions and emotions is where the devil can work in our soul! You are spiritual; not just emotional! And, the father you choose to believe will directly affect your spirit, which is called your heart. Your heart controls your emotions –don’t let the devil guide you to reverse your blessing to the curse! Don’t let the enemy of God reverse your emotions to control your spirit! Give it all to God and believe God’s love for you -and allow God’s spirit to control your emotions!
God loves you for who you are –not for what is in your buggy!
We are human and we can have these feelings, even in ministry sometimes, in what we do for God, but yet, we have to remember it is God who is doing the work in all of us! No one is perfect –and none is without sin; we all need Jesus! God makes no mistakes, even in allowing us to learn from our mistakes, God is good and God’s plan for us is to teach us how to live like Jesus and live with God –Free and not under condemnation; nor in condemning others for what Jesus has not! Don’t hold judgement over someone’s head! Don’t live in regret –Regret will turn you into the pillar of salt from looking back.
In ministry, don’t look back and change what God has done through you! Don’t look back for signs of your work though defining success through man’s ways –Remember it is God’s work and to his glory! March forward in Christ and abide in the power of God’s Son, whom is the Love of God living in you!
Do you really need a sign from God? If you have a burden on your heart that is good to serve God with the compassion that Jesus has given you, then here’s your sign! Your sign is that God is using you to do His work, because it agrees with His Word and the Holy Spirit within you! When, the enemy of God comes with thoughts of doubt –THERE’S YOUR SIGN! When the enemy of God tries so hard to stop the work you know you did for God from the compassion that Jesus has given you, there’s your sign!
Do not look back! Satan wants to divide you and get you to doubt who you are to God, and God’s work through you! The enemy of God will work endlessly to destroy you if possible –to get you to believe that your worth to God has been changed –or that your work has not met God’s standard of care! Don’t worry about what people think! Don’t allow Satan to divide you –Instead, remember the Word of God is active and living! Trust God with the Mathematics in your life! Praise God for adding, subtracting, dividing –pruning, opening doors, closing doors –knowing God’s plan is good and eternal! Care about people, but don’t worry about what you can’t change! Pray for them, but don’t keep looking for approval or forgiveness (or understanding) from people who will always leave you needing more! Get your approval from God that is sufficient!
This is where confidence in Christ is found =Believing GOD; and believing also IN Jesus! Believe God when he tells you through his word and speaks to you in your heart that you are immensely and incredibly valuable to Him! Don’t look back at your mistakes now and turn into a pillar of salt and become useless to God in doing His Kingdom work! Believe God is saying in part to believe in who you are to God! God SO loved you that HE sent you His SON! Don’t turn into a pillar of salt now! Seek to please God by your faith; and grace and peace will be with you! Believe his this Peace (JESUS) and Joy of God (YOUR STRENGTH FROM GOD) in you! Walk forward, praising and thanking God for what God has done for you and through you; and pray The Holy Spirit does the work through yours and walk on –Don’t look back!
Praise God for what you do not see or feel YET!
Someone needs what you have to offer! Someone is going through what you are feeling! Someone needs to know how to overcome! Don’t allow your feelings to stop you from learning how to overcome! The blessing is for you first –and then you will know that your pain has become your testimony! You are blessed to be a blessing –Don’t allow Satan to feed your emotions to turn you into a pillar of salt! Feed your spirit God’s Word and find all you need to overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit in you, because you believe. And, you can follow the Truth, the Way and the Life –to guide others in the way that has been first revealed in and to you!
Don’t look back and get caught up in yesterday and become useless in today!
What is your mistake of yesterday? Jesus has made you righteous in God’s eyes by your faith in Him Today, so don’t look back; unless the Holy Spirit tells you there is something undone in forgiveness.

Anger and Reconciliation
…23“Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,24leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.
Forgiveness is the only reason to go back to your brother or sister about yesterday’s mistake. Sometimes, we may not know that we have caused a bitter heart to begin. Sometimes, we haven’t cleanly and purely forgiven … others, our self??? …If the Lord reveals to you, then go back for forgiveness; and if possible, as far as it depends on you, set the path straight in the power of the love that is in you through Jesus Christ and then go forward with your eyes fixed on Jesus and keep your path straight!
Pure is not double-minded about wanting God’s help to change your mind! This comes to you by the Wisdom that comes down to us from Heaven (see James 3:13-18, KJV)!

God’s Mercies

What once was, the Holy Spirit can change your words to Once I “WAS” …, but now I have my gained my testimony!
What “is” your mistake of yesterday? Have you allowed your mistake to become your Mountain that the Bible talks about? What “is” your mistake that has halted your progress in Peace; and your growth in Jesus Christ? What “is” your mistake that has turned you into a pillar of salt? Jesus has set you free! What “is” it that keeps you going back? Ask God to help you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus! First off, it is not your mistake to keep –but rather to grown from –It already had belonged to Jesus, because Jesus took it and nailed all sin to the cross! Don’t make the mistakes Jesus has taken from you yours again! Don’t hold on to the past; Hold on to the hand of God, Jesus!

8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

Jesus is forgiveness and restoration of our sin. Jesus died to make atonement of our mistakes forevermore –So, what is your mistake of yesterday that Jesus can’t restore in your spirit today?
A Mountain is anything that is contrary to God’s Word! Is your mountain an anger issue, a financial issue, a marriage issue, a hurt issue through a loss that is hindering God’s promises to you to receive comfort from Him? God looks at our heart –anything that we are embracing and actively allowing anything that is contrary to God’s word that affects the grace of God over our life is a mountain before us that Jesus has taught us how to overcome by faith in Him! Believe in God and believe also in Jesus!
Every major change brings challenges to our faith! With every challenge we need to ask for courage in our heart and strength in our soul to overcome these things by grace and righteousness when we are transitioning into a new way of living.

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
What is your mountain?
- Are you looking back?
- Are you running around your mountain?
- Are you seeking God’s Will for you?
God’s will for you is to “Be Holy!” Move the Mountain because you are a child of God and you believe in God’s promises to you!
Mark 11:23King James Version (KJV)
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
There is a consequence to our mistakes –but no condemnation in God’s eyes through His Son! Be courageous and be holy! The Bible says also, “Do not fear and do not be afraid, for God is with you wherever you go.” So don’t look back to worry about what Jesus has not done …Jesus has accomplished it all! Yet, Jesus will not move your mountain for you!
- Instead, Jesus has given you his Name to Move it!
- Jesus has given you His Authority to move it!
- Jesus has given you His Compassion to move it …!
- Jesus has told you how to move your mountain and why! Demand your mountain to move from your path in Christ! In Jesus Name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, according to the Word of God, Jesus has told us, children of God, to demand our mountain to remove itself from us and Jesus has told us where to tell it to go!
We speak to our mountain and we tell it to go away from us and out of us! We call our mountain by name and we tell it to go out of our mind, our body, our soul, our spirit, our life, our finances, our homes, our families! We tell our mountain to leave away from us! We call our mountain by name and we tell it to leave from where it is; and we cast it out of us by speaking God’s Word to it, in HIS Son’s authority that has been given to us; and we demand that it goes from us and goes back to the depths of evil from where it came from –to the sea!
Worry is a sin. Are you toiling in this sin? Worry is a sin because worry is the action of not trusting God! Worry questions God’s plan! Worry is doubt; and doubt cancels faith –Faith trusts God and faith is sure of what we hope for and certain of what we don’t see.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6, KJV).
I am here today for you by the power of God’s Love to remind you of the power of your faith that lives in your spirit trusting God! I am here for you today to encourage you to “build yourself up in your most holy faith and pray in the power of the Holy Spirit”, according to God’s Word, (written in Jude 1:20), for God’s courage, help and guidance in what you are facing today. Find your faith in Jesus; and build on it!
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Romans 10:17, Hebrews 11:1, KJV).
Jesus doesn’t lead us –we Follow; Jesus is our guide! A leader is different than a guide! Our path is set and we have choices set before us: Life and death; and blessings and curses! Jesus is our guide to life and blessings –Follow Him. Righteousness goes before us. Jesus has made the way! Jesus is the truth, the way and the life –We follow His Righteousness and Jesus guides us by His peace with Joy! And, surely, His mercy and goodness follows us all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6, KJV)!
Psalm 85:13
You Showed Favor to Your Land
…12Indeed, the LORD will give what is good, And our land will yield its produce. 13Righteousness will go before Him And will make His footsteps into a way.
Jesus won’t do for us what He has already given us the power and authority to do for ourselves in His Name! Jesus has wrapped His arms around us and He has become our guide! The Holy Spirit is our Help and our Shield!
Deuteronomy 33:29
Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (Deuteronomy 33:29, John 14:27, KJV).”
