This is a tragic story, and now the sludge from Colorado’s Gold King Mine has reached New Mexico. The EPA is saying that this spill will have a long-term impact and cleanup will take a very long time. The rate of the discharge on Saturday was down from about 750 gallons per minute on Friday.
