Reports are coming in from the Chinese state media that a massive explosion has occurred in the port city of Tianjin in northern China. It has been reported that shipment of explosives ignited and lit up the night sky and damage several buildings.
Some reports are saying that as many as 50 people have been admitted to local hospitals and that two fire fighters are currently missing. However, the Chinese state media is saying that the blaze is under control.
Tianjin is a major port and industrial complex that is home to an estimated 7.5 million people that is located of Beijing, the nation’s capitol.
