I was informed early this morning that Our Dear Friend Glenn Kellogg graduated to glory last night. Glenn’s son Geoff, let me know. I am so very thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for the life of Glenn Kellogg. What a great man of God. One of the many blessings I have received in serving at the Baptist Church in Reserve, NM is meeting this strong man, who always had a smile and warm greeting for me! He did not let his illness and wheelchair stop him from enjoying life and spreading the joy of our Lord Jesus Christ to everyone he met! What a great example for us all! What a testimony! I will always treasure my times with Glenn, especially the intimate conversations we had while he was at the VA in Albuquerque, he built up my faith with his testimony and how he came to know Jesus Christ.
A Memorial Service will be held will be held at 11am at the First Baptist Church in Reserve on October 10th. Geoff said this about his Dad this morning, “Dad leaves a huge void in our lives and the lives of many in the Reserve area, he was such a strong man of faith, he never met a stranger.” Glenn served our Country in the Navy from 1956 to 1959.
Glenn now is with our Lord Jesus Christ and reunited with his wife, Joanna and daughter Marta!
Mark Twain said, “Live your life so that at your funeral even the undertaker cries.” Glenn certainly lived such a wonderful, Godly life, we all weep at his passing, but we celebrate his graduation to glory! Amen!
Please keep the family in your prayers for peace and strength during this time.
Revelation 21:4………
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
