The media is all tied up in other stories and has forgotten about Iran for now. We are coming up on an anniversary, September 3rd, 1939, the start of WWII. One year before World War II broke out. members of the British Parliament, save for a tiny few, were cheering Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain who had returned from Germany triumphantly proclaiming, “Peace for our Time,” while holding a fluttering piece of paper with Hitler’s name on it. Reminds me of Obama’s deal with Iran! One man rose in that chamber on that August day years ago, turning to face the Prime Minister, who still believed in the spurious terms of the Munich Agreement, he thundered these words: “You were given the choice between war and dishonor, you chose dishonor and will have war.” That man was Winston Churchill. Please listen to my podcast.
Churchill also said, “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.”
