Presenting your body…….
Bill Tisdale, a missionary to the Philippines, gave this illustration about surrendering his physical body to the Lord. He described presenting the parts of his body one by one for Christ’s use through a prayer like this:
“Lord, here are my eye’s. I give them to you. I want them to see only the things you want them to see. Help me to always look at things you want to look at and avoid the things you do not want to look at. Here are my hands. Work through my hands to do what you want to do. Here are my feet. Guide them to go where you want them to go. I give you the Lordship of my body.”
WOW! Impactful! Can you and I do this?
I also give my tongue to the Lord, the tongue is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person.
There are really right now three books by my side every day…….every minute…The Bible, Master Life, and Experiencing God by Henry and Richard Blackaby.

I encourage you to put down your phone, laptop, or whatever modern day device you have and grab the Bible, The Book of life, the real thing and hold it and pray and read………
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Gal. 5:24-25
