ICEJ NEWS REPORTS: Epidemics rampaging in Yemen amidst ongoing violence
NGO’s operating in the war-torn country of Yemen report growing cases of dengue fever, typhoid and malaria. Social services have almost entirely collapsed in the country, leaving garbage piling up in the streets of cities, sewage going untreated and various other sanitation issues not being addressed, all set against the backdrop of a ongoing fighting between various armed factions and a searing heat wave affecting the entire region. Shortages of food, water, medicine and shelter have also contributed to the epidemics, along with an invasion of infectious pests who feed on the accumulating waste and the unburied bodies of animals and people who have fallen victim to the deteriorating situation.
It seems to me the “World Powers” have forgotten about Yemen! That includes the U.S. Meanwhile President Obama is on a 17 day vacation as the world burns.
Let us pray for the people of Yemen, Satan be gone from Yemen! in Jesus name, Amen!
