Yesterday I got hope and encouragement from my brother Daryl. He lives in an assisted living center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He has not had an easy life. He has had a life full of trials. As my Brother in Christ Paul Dokken says, “Daryl knows Jesus!” Paul and his lovely wife Rene live in Sioux Falls and are such good friends of Daryl’s. Daryl is in a good place right now, has been for months, we thank the Lord for that. Yesterday on the phone Daryl told me, “Trials produce perseverance.” He really preached to me with those three words. Daryl helped put things in perspective for me. God never gives up on us, we must never give up, we must keep our eyes on Jesus Christ! If we keep our eyes open to see, ears open to hearing, you never know who will preach living words to you. My brother Daryl preached living words to me yesterday. I weep with joy.
