As Cindy and I walked up the walkway towards the ceremony platform of the New Mexico National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies, our hearts became overwhelmingly heavy. We were welcomed by 3,315 Pink and Blue Crosses in a field representing the same number of babies aborted in the United States on a daily basis!
Moments later, the Memorial Service began with pastors and leaders sharing from their hearts to ours. They challenged us to remember that God has created us and had knitted us in our mother’s womb. They challenged us to be a voice for the unborn to fight for their right to live. We were challenged to pray for an awaking to take place throughout of great Country, State, County and City to the move of God sweeping across New Mexico!
We all prayed, wept and then celebrated the hope that we have in the Lord for the coming victory over abortion that we believe is near. As we left, our burden was lifted yet once again place on our shoulders to be diligent to fight the good fight, finish the race and remain faithful. I think God for the opportunity to have taken part in such a sacred moment. I am praying that you will join us in the fight!
