A Muslim president?
The leftist news media in this country seems to be beside itself as at least two Republican presidential candidates are not drinking the “peaceful religion” kool aid that all the other group thinkers swallow and preach on a regular basis about Islam. It started with Donald Trump, who was labeled a racist in prime time by Sunday night’s Emmy Award host Andy Samberg. Trump was taken to task after a September 17 town hall meeting in Rochester, NH when he didn’t correct a man who called the “president” a Muslim. The LA Times reported that “after days of scorching criticism” Trump defended letting that statement stand, saying he is not morally obligated to defend the “president.” But wait, there’s more.
Then there was Republican candidate Ben Carson who popped the bubble on the media’s love affair with Islam. The Hill reported that “Carson ignited a media firestorm in a Sunday morning interview with Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press,” in which he said he “would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation.” In an interview with The Hill, Carson said, “I do not believe Sharia is consistent with the Constitution of this country. Muslims feel that their religion is very much a part of your public life and what you do as a public official, and that’s inconsistent with our principles and our Constitution.” Carson also explained “taqiya,” where misleading and lying are allowed by Sharia law to advance Islam.
Carson told The Hill, “We are a different kind of nation. Part of why we rose so quickly is because we wouldn’t allow our values or principles to be supplanted because we were going to be politically correct… part of the problem today is that we’re so busy trying to be politically correct, that we lose all perspective.” Said in a different way, Islam’s values and principles are not those of America. Remember the facts–Islam denies Christ is the son of God; continues to enslave women and children; terrorizes those who do not agree with it; brutally murders Jews and Christians and, quite frankly, members of any other religion that dares disagree. How can anyone say that allah and God (YHVH) are the same?
It’s also interesting that after nearly eight years of the current “president” in office, that people are still raising the question of whether he is a Muslim. He says he is a Christian. God only knows his heart. But Christ gave us a way to discern these people. In Matthew 7:19, Jesus said, “By their fruits you shall know them.” In other words, actions speak louder than words. The “president” has shown 7 years of supporting Islam, and various factions of it, at the expense of this nation– Arab Spring, Libya, Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, Al Nursa, Iran, Palestinian Authority, and the list goes on and on. He has defended Islam, while criticizing Christianity. There are Christians rotting in Iranian prisons while he does nothing. So is Trump wrong for not defending the “president’s” faith? Is Carson wrong for saying no Muslim should be president?
