Carson’s team responds to anti-Muslim outrage
Groups have called for the 2016 candidate to withdraw after he said Sunday he would not agree with having a Muslim in the White House. Ben Carson’s campaign pushed back against outrage over his comments regarding Islam, saying there was a “huge gulf” between the Muslim faith and “American values.”
