Our world is filling up with fear, anger, distrust, violence, murder, and murder for the weakest of excuses. In America, racism is killing us, and the root of it goes back hundreds of years!
Several years ago, as Prayer Coordinator for an Association of nearly 70 churches, I challenged all of our people to pray specifically for two large people groups for the whole year. The groups were: African Americans and the nation of China.
On a personal level, I asked God to teach me to love each of these groups as He does. I can’t even begin to express how this changed my life. I have a deep love and appreciation for each, and I have many wonderful friends as a result. Furthermore, this prayer has opened the door for multiple prayer ministries within these groups. God opened the way for me to prayerwalk throughout all of China, north to south, including Hong Kong and Macau. On the home front, I have served both African American and Chinese churches many times conducting prayer seminars, revivals, and other prayer activities.
This new heart has reached to many other nationalities and nations. I do my very best to show love and respect to all. However, our nation is still filled with hatred, anger and distrust and disrespect. It breaks my heart! I love to give smiles and a greeting to the many new faces I see when out in the community, and shopping at the many stores. But it grieves my heart when many in our two larger people groups, just return my attempted kindness with harsh glares and silence.
May I ask a question of all Americans of all color, as an individual whom you do not know personally: What have I ever done to you that you would shun my love for you? I truly love you, even while I, too, do not know you. Why won’t you give to me the same love? Why won’t you love others, as He, Jesus, loves you?
“Come on people now smile on your brother, everybody get together try to love one another, right now. “ Love is the only hope we have to ever come out of this mess. The devil is right now winning America, and we, you, are letting him destroy us all. All lives matter! You matter! I matter! We matter! I dare you, I challenge you . . . ask God to show you how to love others that are not just like you!
