Perfect Christian Unity: “March For Jesus” in Albuquerque

Outstanding effort by Pastors Maria Benavidez and Eddie Garcia putting together the annual “March For Jesus” Albuquerque 2015. They helped raise a banner over our city on Saturday and that banner was the name of JESUS! Several hundred participants gathered at the South Broadway Community Park and Cultural Center with motorcycle riders from three New Mexico chapters of Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA: Triple Cross Riders, Son Crest Riders, and Victory Riders) leading out at 10am, followed by floats with live worship bands, Youth teams, marchers, flags, balloons, banners, and a sweet classic ’55 Chevy. Albuquerque’s finest APD officers did a spectacular job escorting us along the two mile parade route, keeping everyone safe and traffic flowing smoothly. By 11:15am the parade arrived at Santa Barbara-Martinez Park to live music under the pavilion lead by Jackie Jaramillo and the Exodus Worship Band, free food for all supplied by God’s Warehouse volunteers lead by Pastor Chuck Aragon, a prayer tent manned by CMA Son Crest Riders’ “Sweet T” and “Jammer” Walker, then a mass balloon launch to honor JESUS, the parked filled with kids’ activities and pony rides, while over twenty local pastors joined in unity for a JESUS message that brought several forward to a make a first time commitment into a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. Thanks to everyone involved! Doesn’t get any better than that – Perfect NM weather, perfect Christian unity, perfect JESUS – Perfect!
