Prayer By Jeanne Theriault

1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us, whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of him.
Prayer is communicating with God that touches his heart. Prayer changes things in our lives. We need to persevere in the mist of every trials.
James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers whenever you face trials of many kind. 3 Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance will bring you into a place where God will answer your prayers. Prayers gives you the divine power and authority.
Luke 9:10 When Jesus had called the twelve together he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure all diseases. God has given you that same authority, the enemy has no authority over you.
Prayer is not base on our feelings, but on the word of God. Prayer is joining forces with God the Father by calling out to his promises.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made they are yes in Christ, and so through him the amen is spoken by us to the glory of God .
Prayers brings glory to God, it prepares you to reign with God, it brings growth into your life.
You need to pray with confidence 2 Corinthians 4:13 It is written I believe, therefore I have spoken with that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak. Learn to talk the answer and not the problem. Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be acquitted and by your words you will be condemned.
What kind of conversation are you having after you are done praying? Are your words of faith , are you allowing your disappointment dictate your conversions? You need to replace your words of fear with confession of faith. John 6:63 The spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing, the words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.
Believe that you have received it. Matthew 21:22 If you believe you will receive whatever you ask in prayer.
Hold fast to your confession. 1Corithians 15:2 By this gospel you are saved if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you, otherwise you have believed in vain .In other words you need to pray and never loose heart and never give up.
Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Here he is talking about the persistent widow who kept going to the judge with a plea and so finally the judge gave her plea by her persistency.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Praise God for the answer. Hebrews 12:28 Therefore since we receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe for our God is a consuming fire.
God hears all of your prayers, even though it is beyond our understanding ,beyond our ability He already knows our needs and desires, but He wants us to pray to him and see him move on our behalf he will never let you down James 5:16 The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Philippians 4:6 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Thank you Lord as we call out to your promises in prayer and walk in confidence and believe we will receive. We will talk the answer and hold fast to our confession of faith . For you will keep us in perfect peace because we trust in you.
