From Albuquerque Police: We just arrested the suspect who shot our officer. Thank you to everyone who helped and for your patience if you live in the area. Our officer is not out of the woods yet. We are still asking for prayers for him and for his family. He is an eight year veteran of APD and a military veteran.
KOB TV REPORTS:
An Albuquerque Police Department officer was shot around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Walgreens at Central and Eubank. The suspect, identifed as 34-year-old Davon Lymon, was captured just after midnight Thursday, according to APD.
Albuquerque Police Chief Gorden Eden said at a 1:30 a.m. news conference Lymon was found hiding in a yard in the neighborhood north of where the shooting occurred by a law enforcement helicopter. MORE HERE
We are praying for the Officer and his family, also praying over all of our Officers. I also pray for the City of Albuquerque that is in a horrible cycle of violence, that this cycle can only be broke by our Lord Jesus Christ…….
