Today, let’s pray that we will be obedient followers of Jesus Christ. Let’s say yes.
Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told his disciples, If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
1 John 2:3-4 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.
Matthew 4:18-20 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”At once they left their nets and followed him. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written Be holy, because I am holy.
John: 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Luke 9:23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
Father, today we say yes to following you. Where you lead us, we will follow. We thank you for leading us beside still waters as you speak to us, as only you can. Sometimes you ask us to step out into the unknown, other times the path is made very clear. Either way we say yes to being fishers of men. Where you lead us, we will follow. No turning back, absolutely no turning back.
Today, all across this globe we declare our yes means yes, we will follow you. Are you ready to totally surrender and follow Him? If you are, tell him so.
On the mountain tops of our lives we will shout yes and down in the valley, we still will say yes.
We declare we are totally surrendered to your will and to your way. We declare today, we are followers of Jesus. We say yes. Do you?
Have A Blessed Day, For this is the Day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
