Praise God in Your Battles By Jeanne Theriault
Psalm 8:2 From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies to silence the foe and the avenger.
Satan hates praise, because it focuses our attention on God. God is our Father and He fights His children’s battles and one of the weapons that we have is through praise!
Psalm 66:2 Sing the glory of his name, make his praise glorious! 2 Say to God How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.
Praise opens the way to answered prayer. Praise opens the heart of God.
Psalm 107:21 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men 22 Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.
Praise fills the atmosphere of heaven, His presence fills the air of joy, peace, and healing.
Praising God opens your heart to God, it will change you and change your situation, it opens the way to miracles. Praising God makes you triumphant in the battle. For the battles is the Lord’s.
Psalm 60:12 With God we gain the victory and he trample down our enemies.
We praise God in song : Psalm 69:30 I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving .
We praise God in prayer: Psalm 66:29 Praise be to God who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me.
There are times when it not easy to praise, but in Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus therefore let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of the lips that confess his name.
As you begin to praise a peace will come upon you and your sorrow will turn to joy. Praising God welcomes the Holy Spirit which is your comforter. Praising God gives you the victory! Praising brings a shout of victory in the midst of the battle.
Jehoshaphat was in a battle when he and the people sought God’s face, Then a Levite gave them a message of hope. They believed the promise of God, so they marched into battle with singers and praising God. When they began to sing and praise the Lord set ambushes. (2Chronocles 20:22)
Praise set an ambush for the enemy.
Whatever life challenges come our way praise is another form of prayer that can change things.
Jehoshaphat spoke the word of God by saying Lord you rule overall the kingdoms power and might are in your hands. No one can withstand you, we will stand in your presence. Standing in God’s presence requires us to give him praise. God knows all difficulties we face. No matter what battles we face his word says that the battles is not our but his.
2 Chronicles 20:17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.
So I challenge you today take your position in God, stand firm and speak the word of God over your situations with a thankful heart and a heart of praise and God will come through , by releasing praise it confirms that God will do it for you.
Psalm 34:19 A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
Thank you Lord, we will glorify your name in song and worship. We will say how awesome are your deeds, we will give you thanks for your unfailing love, for with you Lord we have victory! For our battles belong to you ,as we stand firm and position ourselves you will deliver us so therefore we give you praise!!!
