Prayer is communicating with God. Prayer is having a relationship with God. Prayer is basically talking to God. God want us to communicate with him. He wants us to include him in our daily lives. Having a deep and personal relationship with him makes all the difference.
Psalm 145:18 The Lord is near to all who call on him to all who call on him in truth.
We need to acknowledge his magnificence, confess our sins, give thanks for all of his blessings, express our love to him and share our concerns and our needs.
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Go in a private place where there is no distractions and spend time with him. You can hear his voice through his word or through His still small voice.
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray go onto your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Worshiping God through prayer brings us closer to him.
James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.
It will change us, change our circumstances it will give us peace, joy, and it will strengthen us. It will also built our faith.
Jesus constantly prayed when he was here on earth.
Luke 6:12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.
Luke 5:16 Jesus prayed after healing the people 16 Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
Jesus is still interceding for us today
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died more than that who was raised to life is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us .
Hebrews 7:25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him because he always lives to intercede for them.
Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer being watchful and thankful.
James 5:16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
Thank you Lord Prayer is a safe place that we can enter in as we come to you with a forgiving heart. You will answer in your perfect timing. You know all of our needs as we trust in you . We will be thankful and give you praise and honor. You always intercede for you children and forever love them.
Psalm 69:13 But I pray to you O Lord in the time of your favor, in your great love O God answer me with your sure salvation.
