Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the Lord.
God’s will for you is to receive your healing. He wants to heal your soul from all past hurts that was done to you.
First you need to extend forgiveness for those who have hurt you. Unforgiveness can block you from receiving your healing.
Mark 11:25-26 And when you stand praying if you hold anything against anyone forgive him so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins .
Matthew 6:15 But if you do not forgive men their sins , then your Father will not forgive your sins .
Inner healing requires God’s forgiveness
Hebrews 12:15 See to it that no one misses the Grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble or defile many.
Look at Jesus right before he died, He said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Remember God loves you for who you are not because of what you’ve done. You are not forgiving others for their benefit, but for your own good. As you forgive others it opens you up for the Lord to begin healing you. Unforgiveness is a form of hate against another person. If you have hate then there is love lacking in your heart. If you allow yourself hanging on to hard feelings and become bitter it will cause your wound to become more infected. Jesus said the devil came to steal, kill and destroy he wants you to stay in unforgiveness , steal your peace, joy and your healing. If you have a hard time forgiving others, start working on your relationship with your heavenly Father so you can come to know his great love for you and then your Spirit will respond and His love will begin to flow through you.
John 14:23 If anyone love me he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home with him.
John 13:34 A new command I give you ,love one another. As I loved you so you must love one another.
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you .
The heavenly Father wants this intimate relationship with you even more then you do. He longs for you to spend time with him . The more you spend time with him He will reveal himself to you with such a presence that you will be a changed person.
Psalm 16:11 You will fill me with joy in your presence with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Jesus was also emotionally abused
In Luke 4:28-30 He was rejected, In Matthew 12:24-25 The Pharisees opposed him and they accused him of being the Prince of demon.
The agony in the garden, Jesus soul was overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death where as his sweat was like drops of blood.
Jesus was betrayed by one of his own. Peter denied him three times, the Chief Priest , teacher of the law mocked him. The people hurled insults at him.
He also suffered physical abuse, He was whipped spit on, they plucked his beard, pierce his side, nailed his hands, and placed a crown of thorns on his head.
But yet he said in Luke 23:34 Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.
Jesus is an example to us. He walk in forgiveness. He wants you to walk in forgiveness once you release all past hurts than God comes in the scene and then you are ready to receive your healing.
Philippians 3:13 Forgetting what is behind and straining toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
3 John 2 Dear friends I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
How do we know when healing happens? We see the ability to love unconditionally.
1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love whoever lives in love lives in God and God in him. Love always believes in the best in people, for unconditional love means affection with no limits or conditions complete love.
Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.
Psalm 147;3 He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be Holy without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Isaiah 53:4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows yet he considered him stricken by God smitten by him and afflicted 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Psalm 103:2 Praise the Lord O my soul forget not all his benefits 3 who forgives all my sins and heals all your diseases.
Exodus 15:26 For I am the Lord who heals you!
Lord fill me with your love to be able to forgive others just as you forgive me. So that I can receive my healing. If I hold on to the past then I can’t move on to my future. For my past is holding me from going on into my future. All healings come from you, you took our infirmities and carried our sickness and by your stripes we are healed. Your scriptures declare that you want me to walk in good health. As I release forgiveness I believe you will restore me Jesus healed everyone who came to him in faith. Thank you Lord for healing me an enabling me to walk in good health.
