Praise Him By Jeanne Theriault
Psalm 150:1-6 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in his mighty heavens, Praise him for his acts of power, praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, Praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Giving God praise bring in his glorious presence. Whatever is in our hearts we need to speak it out loud to him and express our appreciation and gratitude of the heart for in his presence there is fullness of joy!
Psalm 16:11 You have made known to me the path of life, you will fill me with joy in your presence with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Hebrews 13:5 Never will I leave you never will I forsake you.
His presence is always with us , because the Kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:21)
In Acts 16:25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God and the other prisoners were listening to them .26 Suddenly there was such a violet earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.
Here we see Paul and Silas in prison and chained and I am sure it must have been cold, but they prayed and sang songs unto the Lord , instead of complaining and feeling sorry for themselves. They gave God praise. And during there praise there came a suddenly.
We are all called to offer God a sacrifice of praise. Why? Because when we need to be praising the most we feel it the least. We are called to sacrificed our personal emotions, thoughts and will and walk in the Spirit and rejoicing in His promises no matter what our circumstances. Then our suddenly will come and just like Paul and Silas, No matter what your circumstances we should praise God and be that example cause others may come to Christ because of our example.
1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you Lord Psalm 100:4-5 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise give thanks to him and praise his name! We praise and adore you, you alone are worthy of our praise. We rejoice in your mercy and truth!
