The Rose of Sharon Fragrance

My grandfather used to smell of Old Spice when I was very small. To this day, when I smell or see Old Spice, I have fond memories of my Grandpa Sanders.

I determined about 42 years ago that I wanted to build a similar memory in the minds of my own children, and now grandchildren. I have used the same cologne, (not Old Spice), all these years. My kids have often remarked that I must have been cuddling one of our pets as they carried my fragrance.

Beloved, if we are spending quality closeness to Jesus, we ought to carry His fragrance on us.
