My heart sunk at this report….surprised? sadly, NO! This report should give us all pause. This is what happens when a nation walks away from God. We are killing ourselves with unethical behavior, or as I call it, unGodly behavior. Have we become blind to the fact only 7% of America goes to church? The fall of America continues right before our eyes. The breakdown of American society is coming in many ways. My prayer is that many will come to Jesus Christ and see His ways, the only way to purity.
In November 2014, Arkansas voters approved a ballot measure that, among other reforms, barred the state’s elected officials from accepting lobbyists’ gifts. But that hasn’t stopped influence peddlers from continuing to provide meals to lawmakers at the luxurious Capital Hotel or in top Little Rock eateries like the Brave New Restaurant; the prohibition does not apply to “food or drink available at a planned activity to which a specific governmental body is invited,” so lobbyists can buy meals so long as they invite an entire legislative committee.
You cannot keep killing babies and expect God’s blessings.
We are creating a kind of hell for our children and grandchildren.
This report is even more proof that our problem is not a Democrat or Republican problem, it is a problem of the SOUL.
Whatever happened to that old American adage of leaving the world a better place than we found it? I thought even the secular world believed in that?
